» Kacos - Banana Treats
Last year at day camp we created a treat..sort of ... Take a banana (Leave peel on). Slice down the center and open. then sprinkle peanutbutter chips, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and/or toffee bits. Wrap in foil and leave in coals for maybe five minutes...long enough for everything to melt.I had several kids grumble while making them...but boy did they gobble them down :-}

Thank you so much for the post! That recipe sounds great! I have my Girl Scout troop and we are trying to get some fun recipes to try on out camp out. Found some great sites other than the one I have posted for great outdoor cooking recipes. I may just do a feature full of fun recipes and links for camping and such! My discussions has not been working until now, so I am hoping that we get some GREAT ideas for future features and stuff. If you have any ideas...just let me know!!!Thanks!
