Mary, thank you once again for opening the discussion area.

Your kids get out early. The kids here get off the week after Easter.

Thanks for your support, Mary.

Jerri,

Some kids on the east coast of Canada and the States had their March Break a couple of weeks ago. Guess it depends on the school board.

Grandma is a bit under the weather and hope it isn't strep, but the boys parents are both home this week. However, they'll be disappointed if they can't have their sleepover. I'm hoping to feel better so they can still come, but don't want them to catch anything. smile

Jerri,

I am not a kid, but I have an Alaskan Malamute. He is a source of delight to us. These dogs have a winning personality, but they're not for everyone. Meeko is good with the boys. In fact, he is happiest when they are here. He still acts like a puppy and he will be 5 in August. He's so comical. If you'd like to learn more about him, he now has a topic right here at Suite101, called, A Dog's Life. Here is the link if you or anyone else would like to drop by for a visit. http://www.suite101.com/welcome.cfm/19618

Meeko is very friendly, so never fear about him growling or biting. He is more apt to kiss you to death. smile He is protective when he needs to be - that is when people come to the house or get too close when we are walking. Meeko knows the ones to avoid and usually steers me another way. I trust his judgement explicitly.

Great links, Jerri! I love the PBS site. If I had stopped by yesterday, I could have saved myself a lot of time looking for such a website. LOL All these websites are terrific. They are so well done and interesting. smile
