Thanks for the Valentine! -- posted by jerrib » maxw - diggle A diggle is a pea plant that takes in so much iron that it dies. Scientists are trying to learn from it how to get other plants to take in just a little more iron.If I get to choose what websites you find, then I hope you can find websites that have lots of contests for kids, because I love contests. -- posted by maxw » Tina_Coruth - Diggles and mites Hi Jerri,I know what mites are (as cool as it is, I don't think I will be making a "mite box" LOL), but I had no idea what a diggle is until now. Very interesting! As always, I enjoyed following these great links. Thank you!! -- posted by Tina_Coruth » Dubh_Sidhe - Re: Diggles and mites In response to Diggles and mites posted by Tina_Coruth:LOL! This is rich, Jerri! Never heard of a diggle, but like Tina, I know of mites. Whenever I take Bear to the Vet, I am always faced with a huge picture on the wall showing the full life cycle of mites. I always enjoy it, not because of the mites in particular, but because I love charts. I think charts are fascinating. The new "definitions" of mites in your links are great. Me thinks I am in for a great educational tour! v -- posted by Dubh_Sidhe » jerrib - Re: Diggles and mites In response to Diggles and mites posted by Tina_Coruth:I'm glad you had fun, Tina. Hope those grandkids have time to pay me a visit and check out the links. Thanks for posting. -- posted by jerrib » jerrib - Re: Re: Diggles and mites In response to Re: Diggles and mites posted by Dubh_Sidhe:Glad you found some interest here, Lee. I sure enjoy writing at this topic as I love to "play" with all the new information I learn. Charts are interesting. Guess I never thought about it before, but a good graphic is worth its weight in gold. Thanks for stopping in! -- posted by jerrib » Red - Re: Re: Re: Diggles and mites In response to Re: Re: Diggles and mites posted by jerrib:Jerri, Max will be delighted to know you are going to write an article on contests. I am looking forward to reading the article as well. A good contest is always a challenge. When the article is up, I will get the boys to check it out. -- posted by Red » jerrib - Re: Re: Re: Re: Diggles and mites In response to Re: Re: Re: Diggles and mites posted by Red:I'll look forward to their visit, Mary.
