Make sure you see the 1969 movie, "Anne of the Thousand Days." You will fall in love with Anne as portrayed by the 19-year-old French-Canadian Genevieve Bujold. This movie established her international stardom, but she has proved herself worthy of the role in later movies.The acting is superb and the scenic shots are breath-taking. I do believe that the story sticks pretty close to historical facts, too. The movie plays on TV occasionally, and is certainly available in video rental stores. It is also sold by Amazon. Maybe you could place a link to it in this article, Elizabeth.
