I am researching Italian American Christmas customs. There is quite a bit of information available on traditional Italian food items but very little on how other customs were observed. Did many Italian Americans decorate a ceppo? Did Befana come? Did you decorate a Christmas tree, and if so, what did it look like? What type of lighting and ornaments did you use?
