"Jihad amongst the Muslims today has become like a taboo subject that is discussed over coffee. The one who writes and speaks about Jihad has not even spent a minute in the battlefield." [Sheikh Abdullah Azzam] Takhta Pul (Special Report): During the last ten days of Ramadan, Aws Al- Madani from Madinah Al-Munawarrah, Saqar from the Arabian Peninsula and three other Mujahideen gained martyrdom in a spectacular manner. Both were said to have been part of the bodyguard corps of Usama Bin Ladin at some point in the last two years. Four of them were travelling on the Kandahar - Boldak highway in one car. Hypocrites and agents of the American ally, paedophile Gul Agha, had been informed that a car of Arab Mujahideen was approaching Takhta Pul. As they approached a broken bridge at Takhta Pul, approximately 40 of Gul Agha's Afghan fighters ambushed them from positions under and around the bridge. The driver, Saqar, immediately drove his car off the bridge onto the ground below. All four Mujahideen then got out and then began to attack the ambushers. Saqar began to throw hand grenades at the attackers whilst shouting "Allahu Akbar"; Aws meanwhile took a PK light machinegun and the other two began to fire using a combination of RPG's (Rocket Propelled Grenade Launcher) and their personal AK-47 assault rifles. A fierce firefight ensued for several minutes. A few minutes later, another lone Arab Mujahid, who was approaching the same bridge in his car, saw what was happening. He saw a car off the side of the bridge with four of his fellow Arab Mujahideen fighting off an attack by 40 well-armed soldiers, who had surrounded them from all sides. He promptly went and joined them in the battle. The firefight went on and the brave heroes fell one by one as martyrs to their Lord. The last Mujahid fell an hour later. The death toll at the end of the battle was that 25 of the 40 Afghan attackers had been killed and all five of the brave Mujahideen had been martyred. This story was told by an agent for the Taliban Intelligence,who was present at the scene and witnessed the incident. We congratulate the families of the five lions, at least one of whom was from the city of the Prophet (SAWS), and ask Allah to accept their martyrdom as martyrs who faced the enemy and fought until they were killed. Therefore, at the very least, distribute the news. Print out the daily bulletins and paste them on your mosque or prayer area noticeboards. Email them around to your families and friends. Paste them onto Muslim and non-Muslim discussion boards and participate in this blessed Jihad. [Sheikh Abdullah Azzam] SEVERE CLASHES BETWEEN MUJAHIDEEN AND US FORCES, ONE US SOLDIER 'INJURED' KANDAHAR(Radio Report): Severe clashes have reportedly taken place between Mujahideen and US forces in Southern Afghanistan. According to US reports, one US soldier was injured in this encounter, while 15 Mujahideen were martyred, although neither of these reports have been independently verified. According to the US authorities these Arab Mujahideen belonged to Al-Qaida. This clash occured in the North, 40 km away from Kandahar. It is thought that this clash was initiated early Thursday morning during search operations by US forces. US troops are also currently engaged in various operations in the province of Helmand, where they are carrying out house to house searches and have reportedly confiscated 2000 weapons. US FORCES HUMILIATE MUJAHIDEEN AND DISGRACE THE QURAN IN SHABARGHAN PRISON KABUL(Islam News): We have been receiving sickening reports as to the extent of physical and emotional torture US forces are inflicting upon the Mujahideen prisoners of Shabarghan. We have heard accounts that state the Mujahideen were being undressed completely and video filmed whilst being interrogated. On top of this, we have confirmed reports that the Holy Quran, the book of one billion Muslims around the world, was placed under the feet of these prisoners, so as to humiliate them and humiliate Islam. Trustworthy sources further report that the main victims of this torture have been the foreign Mujahideen. All the Mujahideen have been forcefully clean shaven and are made to wear bangles on their feet, so as to identify those who have been interrogated and to add to their humiliation. Almost 4200 Mujahideen are being held in three barracks of Shabarghan prison. Two of these barracks contain over 3300 Afghan Taliban and 200 Mujahideen from the Malakand region. The remaining barrack, which is only meant to have a 100 prisoner capacity, currently holds 700 foreign Mujahideen. May Allah hasten their release and reward them for their patience in the path of Jihad. US AUTHORITIES POSTPONE TRANSFER OF PRISONERS TO CAMP X-RAY WASHINGTON(Radio Report): Military Officials in Washington have postponed the transfer of more Taliban and Al-Qaida prisoners to Guantanamo bay in Cuba. So far, approximately 158 Muslims have been transferred to this base on the basis of that they are members of Taliban and Al-Qaida. Although the guard of the base said that no more men were expected for the next few days that this was due to necessary expansion of the base, apparently to hold yet more Muslims. An interrogation center is also due to be built. This temporary stop of transferring prisoners has nothing to do with world public opinion and objection over the inhumane treatment of these prisoners and the US will continue to treat all its Muslim captives like this. TROOPS LOYAL TO RABBANI AND KARZAI RISK STAND OFF OVER GOVERNORSHIP OF KHOST HIRAT(Online): The former Afghan President Rabbani's supporting commanders and interim government head Karzai's troops, have reportedly gathered their troops ready to fight over the governorship of the Afghan eastern province of Khost. Local residents have started to evacuate the region due to chances of severe fighting. According to the News Agency Arna, tribal lord Zaqeem Shah has captured an important installation of Khost along with 500 of his heavily armed men. This man is thought to be a supporter of former Afghan president Rabbani. On the other hand tribal lord Bacha Khan Zoorani has also commanded his troops to prepare for battle. He claims that he is a representative of Hamid Kirzai. This is on top of the tension that already exists within Khost, with three other commanders waiting to be appointed responsibility of Khost.
