Also check out the article about the planes of 911 being driven by Remote Control. Have we been tricked, to go into war with Islam? -- posted by Babatunde75 » biogardener - my response Canadian Muslims have been fairly sheltered compared to those in the US, but even here, we are starting to see repercussions. Here is what happened over Christmas in the private Catholic school in my neighborhood. A Canadian-born high school boy whose parents come from Pakistan got called names by one of his classmates. No one did anything to stop the abuse. When he could not take anymore and the two boys got into a fight, guess which boy got expelled from school. It appears that a private school can make its own laws. That would not have happened in a public school. My response to this topic is contained in this article. In the discussion which follows, Bill Samuel describes how people who speak for peace are being persecuted in the US. That is why US residents dare not speak out as I am doing. -- posted by biogardener » Anayat_Durrani - Re: my response In response to message posted by biogardener:Dear Traute, Thank you so much for posting that. That case about the Pakistani boy is a very sad story, indicative of the sad and confused times we live in. I read your article and commend you on writing it. I know writing that was difficult for you particularly in this climate of warmongering. Dissenting opinions garners public ostracism here in the U.S. Anyone against the war is called a "traitor" and told they are "un-American" or "un-patriotic" and should go live in Afghanistan. It's shocking. I have heard about so many disturbing incidents. You are right, people who speak for peace and are anti-war are treated in the most barbaric manner. But still, there are many Americans in the U.S. who have and continue to speak out despite the wave of criticism and I truly admire them for their courage. I really do think in time the voices will become more numerous and stronger. -- posted by Anayat_Durrani » biogardener - ant-war editors at Suite101 There are editors here at Suite101 who are pacifists in spite of having been born in the USA. They have admitted their stand to me. They have begged me to write the article, but they will not admit their position to anyone. That is what happened in Germany during Hitler's time. The people who were against Hitler did not dare speak up, because they were not keen on being put in concentration camps. My mother was the only person I remember speaking her mind, and she managed to stay out of concentration camps by virtue of having 5 blond blue-eyed children. Americans decry the Germans who did not speak out against Hitler, but they themselves won't say anything against what is happening, even though there is no threat of a concentration camp, just a threat of disapproval of their neighbors. The Pakistani boy's case was handled by the school board who overruled the principal's decision to expell the boy, but he has already found another school which does not tolerate prejudice. He could not afford to wait for the schoolboard's decision. He would have lost almost 2 months of school that way. -- posted by biogardener » Babatunde75 - Go to this web site I would like for the readers to go to this website - www.rense.com Then go down to Conflict In Isreal This is what is being kept of of the press here! -- posted by Babatunde75 » SufiWarrior - Re: my response In response to message posted by biogardener:Salaam, how you all doing, Anyways Ma Salaam everyone take care -- posted by SufiWarrior » AmericanBorn - Evil Muslims I think the Muslim religion is inherently violent. It insights fanaticism and does not allow for free thought. A number of it's very teachings goes against basic human morality. Fanatical or "fundamental" Muslims must be stopped. They call for jihad but if they ever got jihad with Christians, this evil religion will be wiped from the earth. Leave well enough alone before it is too late. Do not bring any more hate on yourself because if Muslims continue to hate and kill Christians, Jews, Hindus and basically everyone but Muslims, the world will turn on you. And you will deserve it.-- posted by AmericanBorn « Previous 1 2 3 4 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
