» eros74summer - Good materials

Thanks for the info.

I found this website when I searched for info regarding world religion and there is a link to your website. Out of curiousity I read as much as I could.

I grew up within muslim community and have a lot of muslim friends. I learned a lot about Islam. My parents are practising no religion but some of my family members are devoted muslims. I'm not religious but a science student who believes there has to be a superpower who created this universe and I strongly believe in cause and effect therefore this universe cannot start from nothingness. Nothing is created from nothingness...the logic of science but it was nothing...therefore it has to be a power to make that to begin. God as you call Him as or in your religion (with all respect and love) as Allah.

I have read your quran and I live by many principles of your faith even though I'm not a muslim. For example: "There is no compulsion in religion..." I believe it's so true that it's all about you and your "God". not anyone else to judge who you're and I hope I can learn more about this beautiful and interesting religion.

I learned and studied your religion from books, association (friends) and most importatntly your Quran and Hadith. I lost a Quran which that so dear to me when I moved around and my ex-housemate threw it away thinking it wasn't mine. I couldn't find that version where it has a very good and simplified translation. In that quran I had since I was 13, I had written a lot of notes in it for my own understanding. I'm searching for the answers but everytime I read your holy book, I come out calm and serene.

Your religion mentions a number of things that have some proof today scientifically. If i'm not mistaken, it states that we cannot eat food that touch fire so often...scientifically speaking, charcoal food (BBQ, roasted etc) prove to have carcinogens which can harm us. Many other info that cannot or couldn't be found anywhere else until the advance of science. This scientific knowledge I acquired has confirmed my belief that your religion is based on scientific values too. Your religion states that earth revolves around the sun and christians believe the other way round until science proved them wrong. I'm here not to attack any religions as I believe religions are great, it's some people who misinterprate the religious holy texts!

I also secretly believe that man cannot satisfy any woman, let alone four wives. I'm not muslim therefore I cannot represent your religion when some of people I know misinterprate your religion. I hate that....because I know you're not wrong!

People become ignorants because they don't know or refuse to know. Your religion also says that we cannot argue with people who has no knowledge or lack of knowledge. I read a lot about muslim folk stories and they are my fave childhood bedtime reading. No one in my family read that to me but I read and find them in a local library. I love every moment I spend reading about Islam.

I send my prayers (I don't know how to say it properly but God is understanding and he will understand anyone's prayer anyway) to all freedom fighters especially in Palestine. I would die for someone I love and I don't call it suicide but a sacrifice! It's holy to some and stupidity to others...again you know what I'm talking about. It's all about between you and your God.

Thank you and peace be upon everyone.
