» Turlough - Flax Growers CD

I purchased the CD from HeritageQuest.com and it contained quite a list of people. If you know the townland of the person you are looking for, it is easy to scroll down and find. If not, the names are alphabetical. Checking names is quick & easy.

At the same time, I purchased some census CD's and I can say that I am thoroughly pleased with them. The digital enhancing technology allowed me to find a person in the 1900 census who was previously shadowed in darkness on the microfilm. I joined Heritage and the CD's are $14.95 for members, and $19.95 for non members. The best part is the fact that you can print sections of the pages, and since you own it, you can refer back to it at your leisure.

» RoslynT - Any Forsyths on there?

Hi. I have an idea my Forsyths from Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland were weavers and had something to do with flax.

Please give me a hoy if there are any Forsyths still there at the time of your CD.

My ancestors went to Queensland in 1874 from Glasgow but I don't know much more than the surnames Forsyth, Topping & Morrow.
