Kirk, it doesn't change anything. IMO, he touted TEFQX (ONLY for very aggressive investors) as a hedge against his general market call being wrong.
If the market had gone up 30% in 2000, he could have said, "Well, the market went up, but we caught a good part of it with our 40% with much less risk, and those who took my TEFQX advice did even better!"
How do YOU explain his TEFQX call versus his criticism of the "new economy" philosophy???
