Here's the skinny. Your guru said there are two possibilities for his next COUNTER TREND EVENT--only his second such counter trend call since he began this charade in 86.

He claims his next call is either the GREATEST BUYING OPPORTUNITY OF ALL TIME or if that fails his fall back position as the only other possiblity is that his next counter trend call will be A VERY EXTRAORDINARY BUYING OPPORTUNITY.

Now if that Bs doesn't qualify as 100% certain of his "next" counter trend call what would lead you to say that he is 100% certain?

Btw his last counter trend event is down over 70% and in his last newsletter he claims the reason those who "have positions in the Nasdaq 100 (QQQs) " ought to listen to him is because they need to know when he calls his next Counter trend event to extricate themselves from the tremendous losses of the last time he was 100% sure that he was right. Show me any qualifications in the ACT IMMEDIATELY bulletin as to risk or failure of his advice.

No your guru knows that being 100% certain sells newsletters. So did the Grubman guy at Soloman--he's the only guy worse than Brinker at picking technology stocks/funds that I know of. Course he got paid more for being crooked and wrong. smile

If he wants people to stop laughing at his mistakes, he should admit his mistakes, apologize for them, take his lumps and move forward. He shouldn't LIE like a banshee about his record.

HE claimed he would sidestep a bear and would even go short the market. HE claims he sees a bear. HOWEVER HE didn't sidestep it but HE acts as if he did.

If he is not saying we are in a SECULAR BEAR MARKET--please tell me.

If I am correct and I am and that his take is that we are IN A SECULAR BEAR MARKET then by definition if he is calling for a CYCLICAL bull market that would be "A COUNTER TREND EVENT"

"Counter" Lala means "against the grain, the trend--swimming upstream if you will, the "unexpected" because of the overall movement".

Now Lala not only is he saying his next event is going to be a COUNTER TREND EVENT--it is going to be one OF TWO ONLY EVENTS>

IT is either MOABO--The MOTHER OF ALL BUYING OPPORTUNITIES--which would be THE SINGULAR BEST BUYING OPPORTUNITY OF ALL TIME or VEBO--the VERY EXTRAORDINARY BUYING OPPORTUNITY.

If I am not correct please tell me other possibilities he gave in 6 hours this weekend of his next re-entry point.

Did he say I might be wrong? Did he say it might be an average or mediocre buying opportunity?

Nope he gave two choices--the BEST of ALL TIME or the NEXT BEST OF ALL TIME.

Now in Olive Branch if we said that, everybody would understand we were 100% certain something very very good was going to happen.

I don't remember him making any correlation between a possible buying opportunity, "mother" or otherwise, and some other "event" you are saying he called, and referring to them both as "counter trend events," or one in the same thing.
