It was a bulletin that said "Act Immediately"
"It's time to buy those Qubies at Eighty-three"

The world's greatest timer had spoken,
"Buy now for twenty percent gains", records would be broken.

The Qubies went down but Brinker didn't miss a beat
"Hold on, in a couple months you'll see this amazing feat."

But the Qubies continued in their southward flight
Brinker grew quiet, oblivious to his believers' plight.

"It will take a couple extra months because of this election mess"
"We'll still get our big rally, but it will take a little longer I confess"

The Qubies went farther down and Brinker pulled out another rabbit.
He took a second bite of the apple as is often his habit.

"Buy them Qubies, they are going to fly.
Up to 50% or more between now and July"

Alas the Qubies continued their swoon
Brinker just stuck to the same tune.

Then finally all beaten and dejected in May,
Brinker threw in the towel and said "hold for another day"

He wouldn't even say on the radio the letter Q
Having had to admit his rally call was through

But after a few months of a melancholy hold,
Our Brinker thought of a new way to bring more to the fold.

"Buy my newsletter and you will see,
When to sell those Qubies he said with Glee"

"The only time to sell those Qubies now,
is in my cyclical bull, pay me more and I'll show you how".

I imagine that like many folks, Brinker's cost basis for LU is zero, since they got it in the ATT breakup. As I said, you are currently holding HWP. Why try to hide from it?

Now honestly looking at that chart is it even remotely possible that the greatest marketimer and bear hunter of modern times told people to buy those Qubies at 83? i don't think so. Perhaps people miss understood the meaning of the word "immediately" or "ACT" or ...

Johnnythong...actually, I've already answered each of those questions in depth...of course it was awhile ago before this thread became so redundant. Except, of course, the Don Lane question, because I haven't read any of his posts. I have opined, however, that I seriously doubt he and Brinker are one and the same. Now, why are you still holding crap stocks? Oh, I get it. You have no answer to that question. I mean, what answer could you possibly give as to why you are holding stocks that you describe as crap, that wouldn't make you look even stupider than you already do for holding them? Kinda painted yourself into a corner on that one. LOL.

Wonder if Bob will bounce at the bottom or will there be bad press due to fuzzy accounting on his portfolios (and inability to do simple math) and the unethical spinning off of the QQQ and TEFQX loss-making investments into off balance sheet single-line mentions in the MT.

Recommending buying things that they thought weren't good? I wonder if that also covers a hold on things that someone doesn't consider good. Certainly not the same situation but it does smell badly anyway.
