» JenL_3 - Good Job!

Steve - Your 1/9 BB show summary is even better than last week's. Especially like the time frame reference. That was a lot of work, and we really appreciate your effort..........

THANKS!

........J.L.

» Kirk - How Many are reading?

Steve, email me and I will show you how to put in a counter next time so you can track how many view your summaries. Here is a counter here that will give us a rough idea, but really indicates how many times this post gets read into a browser...

To the rest, Please don't start adding counters as they can really slow down the site. These summaries by Steve are really wonderful and I want him to see just how many people actually read his work. We have posted on other investment sites about these summaries so others will benefit. This sort of community is what it is all about here....

» LR - Steve - Thanks again for all your work!

Steve - Thanks again for all your work! You have a gift for encapsulating succinctly & correctly what another person has said (in this case BB). Thanks for all the time you took to post the summary for all of us not fortunate enough to hear the whole show. And we can trust what you write! A vote for post of the week (twice in a row!) LR

» Cubfandan - Great summary, Steve

I usually tape the show but was not able to do so yesterday. I have been waiting for when Bob would suggest a reallocation from these present levels and now I have one, thanks to your efforts.

» WillG - Steve's summary

Good summary Steve. It allowed me to confirm something I thought I heard Bob state incorrectly on the Growth vs. Value returns for 1998 at 1:42 in the broadcast (by the way, I'm not one of those weenies that sits around trying to pick up mistakes, I had been watching this closely for allocation reasons).

Vanguard index growth returned 42.2% in 1998 and value returned 14.6% (Bob's numbers were too low and close together and obviously did not average out to the SP500 return of 28.6%).

Just wanted to make this correction for anyone else contemplating growth/value reallocation for 1999.

» gorby - Steve's BBrinker report

Thanks to you, I actually was able to get the WHOLE program with no interuptions from sports. Don't get me wrong, I like sports in general, but hate to be force fed. I'm new to this discussion group, and will hopefully be able to find your Moneytalk summaries in the future.
A huge THANK YOU for your time and accuracy!!!!!!!

» PualH - Steve,

Steve,

I don't have much to say,... but wanted to thank you along with all the others. Those messages have got to be a lot of work, so you deserve extra praise! Normally I don't post "thank you" mesasges,... but in this case, you deserve an exception! Thank you! :O)

» Kirk - URL for Steve's Jan 9th Summary

Click THIS to go to Steve's Summary of the Jan. 9th Moneytalk program.

To all, when posting urls here, you have to make sure they are not "relative". Relative means no words like "latest" in the URL. You need to have a number range, not a word.

http://www.suite101.com/discussion.cfm/i...

the url above works since it gives

1 - The discussion thread ID, in this case 7819
2 - the message ragne, in this case #61-70 (not latest)
3 - the absolute message number in that range, #3

I just figured this out this weekend after many email complaints of confusion!
