» DennisL - Moneytalk Not Airing in San Francisco Today

Unfortunately, our Moneytalk affiliate here in the Bay area, KGO, is airing its annual leukemia cure-a-thon today, so no BB here today. I hope someone will post a good summary of the program--especially his opening monologue and comments from throughout the show.

» Birdieman - Tony, tony, tony

Tony-

Is it possible for you to come up with some new material instead of rehashing the same old things? Day traders-internuts-AOL-etc. etc. etc. We hear the same things from you all the time and it's getting to be like a broken record. I'm not trying to censor you, just come up with some new stuff, hopefully constructive, that will add to everyone's education.

» TONYBRIG - More then you said

A bird in the hand...........

Many more constructive topics then you said.
You just need to read more.
The more you read the more you learn.
You didnt mention splits?
Repitition is good it brings things out in the
open.
It is one of the keynotes of advertising.
It gets results people evaluate it more.
Important subjects need to be addressed as often
as necessary.
Brinkers coming around on the NUT stocks now.
As witnessed by his plugging today on Radio.
His absence (silence) concerning Day Trading
suggests more prodding is needed in this subject.
His dogma fools people. Day trading is a very
impt subject he needs to admit he was wrong
and get off the B/S about Every Day Trader will
go back to his former job.
A sub-novice in the market even shouldnt make
that kind of a blunder.
Perisistence and results are what counts not
running away from the issues.
I dont always look to entertain.
"Intelligence and judgement are measured by the
ability to evaluate relative importances"
quote L. Ron Hubbard author of Dianetics
Watch these boards for many new topics and many
old ones also from me.
Have you been to the Suite 101.com now publicly
traded thread?

Like Arcane said everyone is welcome here.
Remember that old corny joke?
"Do you serve crabs here?"
Sit down we serve anyone!

» TONYBRIG - A TEN

Sat's Show
Listened to the show on and off. Thank god for the egg timer
alerting me to the commercials.

Of course racing was on so BB takes a back seat to that.
Cat thief ran good but only third in the Fla derby. Just not
good enough had a pretty easy first qtr finsished up ok but no excuse.

Liked his endorsement of the Net when he was mentioning on line purchases and how widespread it was getting to be.

Didnt hear any mention of Day Trading. Did He?

Cant say I learned anything but some reinforcements of what I felt
about the market. Couldnt find any more contrary indicators to
feast on. Such is the life of a BROOKLYNITENUT.

Sund's Show

Even more boring then yesterdays show. Maybe I missed some juicy
parts? Probably listened to bout half or so.
Same crap bout the p/e ratios and excessive valuations for the Aol's
Dell etc.

Big proponent of p/e ratios and how its tied in to interest rates.
Got the feeling according to Brinkers script we could all go to
sleep until the rate drops at least on the up-side.

Next week I try a new gimmick sleep thru his show until he mentions
NUTS or DAY TRADERS or TECH'S then a GENIE will wake me up or some kind of magic like that.
Got an idea for new technology though.....................

Compressed audio tape then search key words and go to them.

Well at least I found some stocks as a possible play!
All the ones he knocked! 8) Kirk claims this means smile with
glasses. Could it also mean smile with eyes?
Is there a way to turn it to the rite so we can see the smile?
Gee what happened he didnt slam Amazon.com this weekend?
They pd their bill?

Gave the shows a 10...............................combined
5 for each day! Too monotonous to sit thru all this for a
little bit of stats and possible divergence play.

His ratings must suck based on the boredom level.
My opinion! wont have a SHOW for long if he dont JUICE IT UP
A BIT.

Needs some one to call him and argue with him or somethin or get
James Cramer on or similar.
