I forgot to mention that whether you pay cash or lease makes no differce to the dealer. If a dealer leases a new car, he collects cash from the manufacturer who finances the lease through such companies as GMAC or Toyota Financing etc.
In fact the price is normally negotiated before the decision to lease, or pay cash is made.
