''It's our contention the super-cycle bull market that started in 1982 and was based on disinflation is coming to an end,'' said Don Hays, market strategist at Wheat First Union of Richmond, Va. ''We expect this bear market to go back to the patterns of the past and last nine to 15 months.''

So he was a little early.
