Cramer news program gets the ax (TSCM) By Russ Britt

Premiere Radio Networks will cancel "Jim Cramer's Real Money," a one-hour daily talk show, MediaWeek.com reported Tuesday. The cancellation of Cramer's show is part of a plan by Premier to cut 15 programs that weren't profitable from the company's lineup.

The cuts will result in the loss of 100 jobs by the end of 2002. "Real Money" was syndicated by Premiere in summer 2001. Cramer is founder of TheStreet.com (TSCM) , an online news service that competes against MarketWatch.com, the publisher of this report.
