I have seen my shares drop by 50% since April. Any thoughts on this stock?

Wasn't this a favorite of Day traders for an "investment" since they used the services of NITE and they projected their usage rates onto the rest of the country?

So...mhoulihan... where is frank? 8)

NITE lags in the summer months as volume dries up, and begins to get its legs back in September. At least that's what folks say... I bought in over the summer on dips... Also, with the takeover talk in this sector, who knows what could happen.

But, if the market takes a tumble then trading volume could go down. Not what most analysts are expecting, though. Most analysts are pounding the table on tech stocks and predicting a fall rally. Battapaglia and Cohen still predict Nasdaq 5500 by the time the crystal ball on Time Square comes down and ushers in 2001.

I love this company. It qualifies as both a growth and a value stock with a trailing PE of 13. They also are rapidly expanding into oversea markets. IMHO, it is an interesting takeover prospect as well given the consolidation activity in financial services. Online trading is a national addiction and betting on NITE is like betting on the "house".

» collguy - NITE on fire

Sold my position this morning. It may get taken out, but it may not. The 38-39 range was too good to pass up. If it falls back into the 20s, i'll be back.
