- Re: Selling Bowg
. In response to message posted by Slick: Very wise Slick. It could go up 10X to $15, but what are the odds of that? Probably about the same odds for drilling a well and striking oil and/or natural gas. on da flip side It could go down 10x to $0.15 and still be nearly twice its low from two years ago AND selling at a price to cash value better than another risky stock I hold. from a TA standpoint, it looks like it has just broken out and is ready to fly, but a stop to protect profits might make sense here... especially if you will feel like shooting yourself if the stock falls to a dime or even 75 cents again and you didn't sell any at these levels. Disclaimer: I've taken profits, substantial profits that come from buying thousands of shares for as low as 12.5¢ a share. It is foolish to not take profits after a huge gain like this (over 10X since a low of 8¢) unless you are an insider and know something. My actual targets to buy a dip or sell a rally are in my newsletter where I can give a full disclosure and proper warning about the risk in this speculation. Good luck! REMEMBER: This is not advice to buy or sell. I am just "talking about it" as I don't want to be held accountable for anyone's gambling. Overall, you should manage your total portfolio on an asset allocation basis, often with the aid of an investment professional. Within an asset allocation, I find it rewarding and fun to have 1 to 5% in "speculation" where using TA on experiments is a reasonable choice. In my newsletter portfolio, which I recommend for perhaps 5 to 20% of an equity allocation for the top of your investment risk pyramid, I manage many investments like this where I use some TA to try to get better prices to buy and sell. - Re: Re: Selling Bowg
In response to message posted by Kirk: So, if y'all's sellin'... who da heck's doin' all da buyin's? Technically, it did well on a breakout with decent volume, but nothing all that stunning. Whether that alone would be enough to attract "traders" is pretty questionable. It's sorta freaky, if you ask me.

Here is another site. http://chart.mine.nu/ enter bowg.ob in the chart window Then click on "swing signals" to open a new deal It would be intersting to see if their signals made any money on this with the very high commission cost. 27-Feb-03 1.57 (1.52-1.67) ++ gapUp 26-Feb-03 1.49 (1.28-1.49) ++ turtleSoup+1, 80/20Sell, wr7 25-Feb-03 1.28 (1.25-1.32) ++ turtleSoupSell 24-Feb-03 1.28 (1.18-1.28) ++ 21-Feb-03 1.20 (1.03-1.23) ++ wr7 20-Feb-03 1.15 (1.14-1.18) ? 19-Feb-03 1.20 (1.17-1.20) ++ inside, nr7 18-Feb-03 1.20 (1.16-1.27) ? wr7 14-Feb-03 1.30 (1.24-1.30) ++ turtleSoup+1 13-Feb-03 1.26 (1.22-1.27) ++ turtleSoupSell, 80/20Sell 12-Feb-03 1.21 (1.17-1.23) ++ 11-Feb-03 1.18 (1.18-1.21) ++ 80/20Buy, nr7 10-Feb-03 1.19 (1.15-1.21) ++ 7-Feb-03 1.18 (1.18-1.25) ++ inside 6-Feb-03 1.25 (1.17-1.26) ++ 80/20Sell, gapUp, gapFilled 5-Feb-03 1.15 (1.12-1.16) ++ 3-Feb-03 1.20 (1.16-1.31) ++ 31-Jan-03 1.21 (1.10-1.21) ++ turtleSoup+1 30-Jan-03 1.17 (1.04-1.17) ++ turtleSoupSell 29-Jan-03 1.03 (1.00-1.06) ++ 28-Jan-03 1.00 (0.98-1.01) ++ inside, nr7 27-Jan-03 1.01 (0.95-1.03) ++ nr7 23-Jan-03 1.05 (0.95-1.15) ++ 22-Jan-03 1.15 (1.06-1.29) ++ wr7 21-Jan-03 1.08 (0.89-1.11) ++ 80/20Sell, gapUp 17-Jan-03 0.77 (0.72-0.87) ++ 16-Jan-03 0.83 (0.76-0.92) ++ 15-Jan-03 0.85 (0.66-0.85) ++ 80/20Sell 14-Jan-03 0.69 (0.60-0.69) ++ 13-Jan-03 0.62 (0.59-0.66) ++ 10-Jan-03 0.66 (0.59-0.73) ++ trendBreakout, turtleSoup+1 9-Jan-03 0.65 (0.44-0.70) ++ trendTest, turtleSoupSell, 80/20Sell, wr7 8-Jan-03 0.44 (0.39-0.44) 80/20Sell 7-Jan-03 0.40 (0.35-0.41) 80/20Sell, wr7 6-Jan-03 0.35 (0.35-0.35) nr7, gapDown, gapFilled 3-Jan-03 0.37 (0.37-0.39) inside 2-Jan-03 0.37 (0.35-0.40) 31-Dec-02 0.39 (0.37-0.39) 30-Dec-02 0.38 (0.37-0.38) 80/20Sell 27-Dec-02 0.37 (0.37-0.38) 80/20Buy, inside 26-Dec-02 0.40 (0.35-0.40) 80/20Sell, gapUp 24-Dec-02 0.34 (0.34-0.34) inside, nr7 23-Dec-02 0.35 (0.32-0.38) 20-Dec-02 0.36 (0.36-0.43) 19-Dec-02 0.40 (0.40-0.44) 18-Dec-02 0.48 (0.43-0.48) + 17-Dec-02 0.50 (0.45-0.50) + 80/20Sell, inside, nr4 16-Dec-02 0.49 (0.44-0.52) ++ trendTest 12-Dec-02 0.50 (0.44-0.51) +++ breakout +++ resistBreak, 80/20Sell 11-Dec-02 0.45 (0.35-0.47) 80/20Sell 10-Dec-02 0.36 (0.26-0.38) turtleSoup+1, 80/20Sell, wr7 9-Dec-02 0.31 (0.30-0.31) turtleSoupSell, 80/20Sell, gapUp, gapFilled 6-Dec-02 0.27 (0.27-0.28) 80/20Buy, gapUp 5-Dec-02 0.25 (0.25-0.25) nr7 4-Dec-02 0.25 (0.25-0.25) nr7, gapDown 3-Dec-02 0.31 (0.31-0.31) nr7, gapUp, gapFilled 2-Dec-02 0.26 (0.26-0.26) inside, nr7 29-Nov-02 0.31 (0.23-0.31) turtleSoup+1, 80/20Sell, wr7 27-Nov-02 0.30 (0.30-0.31) turtleSoupSell, 80/20Buy, gapUp 26-Nov-02 0.22 (0.22-0.22) nr7 25-Nov-02 0.22 (0.22-0.25) 22-Nov-02 0.22 (0.22-0.22) inside, nr7 21-Nov-02 0.26 (0.21-0.26) 80/20Sell, wr7 20-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.21) nr7 19-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.25) 80/20Buy, wr7 18-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.21) nr7, gapDown, gapFilled 15-Nov-02 0.24 (0.24-0.25) 14-Nov-02 0.24 (0.24-0.25) 13-Nov-02 0.24 (0.21-0.24) hilo3Buy, 80/20Sell, gapUp 12-Nov-02 0.20 (0.20-0.20) nr7 11-Nov-02 0.18 (0.18-0.20) ~~~ 0.18 +lo ~~~ 80/20Buy 8-Nov-02 0.21 (0.19-0.22) - 7-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.21) - nr7 6-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.21) - nr7 5-Nov-02 0.24 (0.21-0.24) ? 80/20Sell, wr7 4-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.21) - nr7 1-Nov-02 0.21 (0.21-0.21) - nr7, gapDown 31-Oct-02 0.24 (0.24-0.25) ? gapUp, gapFilled 30-Oct-02 0.22 (0.20-0.22) - turtleSoupBuy, gapDown 29-Oct-02 0.25 (0.25-0.25) nr7, gapUp, gapFilled 28-Oct-02 0.22 (0.22-0.22) - nr7, gapDown 25-Oct-02 0.28 (0.28-0.28) nr7, gapUp, gapFilled 24-Oct-02 0.25 (0.24-0.25) 80/20Sell 23-Oct-02 0.24 (0.24-0.24) - nr7 22-Oct-02 0.25 (0.24-0.26) 21-Oct-02 0.24 (0.24-0.24) - nr7 18-Oct-02 0.31 (0.24-0.31) 17-Oct-02 0.21 (0.21-0.24) - 80/20Buy 16-Oct-02 0.24 (0.21-0.25) - inside 15-Oct-02 0.27 (0.20-0.34) wr7 14-Oct-02 0.20 (0.20-0.20) - nr7, gapDown, gapFilled 11-Oct-02 0.25 (0.21-0.26) 10-Oct-02 0.27 (0.25-0.27) 9-Oct-02 0.27 (0.26-0.28) 8-Oct-02 0.27 (0.23-0.28) 80/20Sell 7-Oct-02 0.23 (0.23-0.23) --- breakdown --- supportBreak, inside, nr7 4-Oct-02 0.28 (0.22-0.30) wr7 3-Oct-02 0.28 (0.27-0.30) 2-Oct-02 0.30 (0.27-0.30) 80/20Sell 1-Oct-02 0.27 (0.27-0.27) nr7 30-Sep-02 0.27 (0.27-0.27) nr7 27-Sep-02 0.27 (0.27-0.30) 80/20Buy, gapDown 26-Sep-02 0.33 (0.33-0.38) 80/20Buy

In response to message posted by Kirk: Looks to me like it's thinking about rebasing somewhere around 1.50. How nuts is that? Lots of 3, 5, 10, 18K (and larger) blocks moving around. For reasons not all that clear, there's some pretty serious stuff going on out there. Apparently there's some big bets being made. Handle with caution! (By the way, Kirk... what did you say those odds or drilling a well and striking oil and/or natural gas were?)
