In past ups and downs, the price dropped pretty quickly after the volume fell off.

This is most strange as it fell back last year three times when volume dried up. This could indicate someone wants shares and will pay more later.

Think of the risk... a small float stock at $1.25 for no good reason could easily go up two or three times just as easily as it could fall 80%. An 80% loss is managable, but losing two or three times the money you invested with a margin call if a short you have triples, deadly. -- posted by Kirk » Wendell - Re: Re: SHORT In response to message posted by Kirk:Kirk, maybe we are the ones with guts, holding onto a shell of a company and hoping for the best. Not having any intention of turning any of my shares loose at this time. Quite a shell game we have going here. Maybe end up paying the piper before all is said and done. Keep the faith -- posted by Wendell » Kirk - Three Up Days . I'm not sure if this applies after a correction or consolidation.... but look at what happened the last time we had this pattern. Candlesticks: Three White Soldiers TA is often wrong, but I thought it would be interesting to point this out. The candle sticks are not that long and we had more of a consolidation of a gain rather than a correction so I don't think it really applies... but it is interesting that we have such strong moves after a consolidation when the overall market sucks. My personal and newsletter BOWG buys and sells are announced via email to my newsletter subscribers as they happen. I post them here on occasion if I remember, have time or feel like it AFTER THE FACT so it clear it is not a recommendation. This allows me to have tons of disclaimers in my newsletter saying how this is a risky stock, etc... and how you should manage risk in an overall scheme of things.
