The low of the day was 11/16 and the high was $1 a share. Looks like I may be able to pick up some shares below the 50 cent range after all.I imagine some of the sell off has to do with Suite101's Quarterly Report (SEC form 10QSB) which came out yesterday. I read through it and was a little confused over one paragraph: "During the six months ended June 30, 2000, our sales were $818 compared with sales of $842 during the six months ended June 30, 1999. Sales in both periods were primarily attributable to software licensing revenues of our wholly-owned subsidiary, i5ive communications inc. " They don't really mean $842 do they? I was looking for a statement that said "figures are in the thousands, or millions" but I didn't find one. -- posted by David_Korn » Kirk - I think a big reason for BOWG going to $0. I think a big reason for BOWG going to $0.75 is the currency that would buy the company (internet stock certificates) is worth far less now PLUS the companies that might want to buy it are not in the best of shape to take on more negative cash flow.You have to look at the investment as a VC would. You will either lose it all or make out well if you buy shares cheap enough and have patience and don't fret about 1000% volatility. There is a BIG reason most say to not buy penny stocks as well as most are not allowed to invest in venture funds unless they understand this and can afford to have the investment go to zero. Now...I wonder what is the best way to get 5000 shares with the lowest commission and not opening an AmEx $100K account? Perhaps ETrade?
