If so, all of us that were buying last yr at much lower prices will sure be happy the recent low held…

Lets see today's action:

Strange to have such a big move when the overall market is down. Someone must have decided they wanted shares and there are not many sellers.

In response to message posted by Kirk:

in a word, nothing.

28 cents yesterdays close
28 cents current bid
42 cents current ask

the 36 cent current price means absolutley nothing except to todays buyer...who is instantly down 8 cents a share plus commissions.

» Kirk - Headfake Alert

.
Remember that BOWG often gets tiny trades under 1,000 shares just before it makes a move as someone has a buy order and they are trying to fake out a few cheap shares.

Well, we just got a 700 share trade this AM to bring it down to 33¢.

700 x 33¢ = $231 or a head fake.

The bid sits there at 33¢ while the ask is actually higher than the open at 43¢. This OFTEN means we will see higher prices today.

<img src=http://cbs.marketwatch.com/charts/int-ad... width=452 height=366>

Lets see what happened but it sure looks like we might have our bottom in which is good as it is a higher low if the 26¢ bottom holds.

To those of little faith...

Read what I wrote above then look at those graphs

we've gone from $0.33 to $0.53 with 137,700 shares traded today so this is not chump change.

Good call on that headfake Kirk. I figured the move up today was the result of this press release, although I didn't read anything in it that would seem to spark the additional buying interest today. They still have about $3 million cash to burn, and have generated some (tiny) revenue from Barnes. Did you see anything in there that stuck out?

I might write more in the newsletter that I am now working on ... don't have much time to comment here...

THIS IS KEY:

We estimate our ongoing monthly cash outflow will amount to approximately $40,000, which sum includes our monthly payment of approximately $26,000 under the terms of the management services agreement. That agreement can be terminated on ten days written notice.

You can last a LONG time on $3M at that rate.

btw, that is WELL KNOWN and the 10QSB just made it official. it is probably one reason for the accumulation of shares and lack of selling by others...hence the price direction...

» Kirk - Bid vs Ask strangeness

.
I just noticed that the Bid and the Ask are Both higher than the last price paid.

It seems someone wants to buy and is losing patience.

or they are very good at screwing with our minds.

so far, Mr Slick is the smart one as he didn't take profits yet and I have taken "some" at 48¢, 64¢ and 67¢ and right now the bid is at 65¢ and the ask at 67.5¢

It cracks me up that this penny stock is making up for my WCOM losses, and then some! The market is sure a strange beast... smile smile

I also noticed WCOM is up smartly this AM. Gawd I wish I could see into the future like ....( you know who ) and buy a 1k shares. Ow well...

BOWG is acting well, but when it gets to .80...I'm selling all my expensive shares for tax loses. If I get a chance to buy them back cheaper...great. But I wasn't so smart way back when. smile (I do have plenty of cheap shares)

In response to message posted by Slick:

on tax losses... remember you need gains to offset any in excess of $3,000 in regular income.

I keep some of my expensive shares as "Tax loss coupons" and use them as needed to offset gains that I take.

If you trade the volatility, often best to use cheap IRA shares. Overall, I use a mixture of both. Managing taxes is a huge way to add to your overall return....

btw, I would not advise announcing where you have automatic sells or buys here... save it for after as this stock is VERY thinly traded...

» Kirk - This is big news

.
http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/020521/va162...

I think it means that there is significant interest in buying BOWG shares from warrant holders IF they can get a fair price.

Of course, it means that there will be less competition for shares now to drive the price higher in the short term but it means there is a source of cash at roughly

625,000 x 52¢ or $325,000 to add to the $3M or so it now has.
