» David_Korn - New Near Term Highs?

Looks like BOWG is trying to break through some long term resistance levels. Perhaps Kirk can bring up the chart. Larger than average volume today is kicking BOWG upwards. Right now, I see a spread of .53 to .55. Some traders look for a break out of new highs before they jump in believing that most of the stock that's for sale gets sold at the prior high. Good luck to those long the stock. Hope you get rewarded.

57¢ to close on 294,000 shares! Break out on high volume... smile

Now I don't feel so silly buying all those shares at 40¢, 20¢, 18.5¢ and 12¢ the past two years!

My guess is some people liked Lita's class.

David.. those of us that did some profit taking of BOWG as it was in the mania stage and then had confidence to buy over the last 18 months when it was below 50¢… have watermelon smiles today.

Remember 10/16/00 when some suggested more into TEFQX rather than a stock like BOWG?

Since 10/16/00 (Act Immediately Week)
<img src=http://cbs.marketwatch.com/charts/int-ad... width=452 height=366>

My last buy was at 12¢ and I sold about 40% of the shares at 48¢ to lock in some profits… but WOW!
<img src=http://cbs.marketwatch.com/charts/int-ad... width=452 height=366>

It cracks me up that some feel we don't make money over here. smilesmilesmile

My newsletter stock portfolio is actually well into the black now on BOWG for all shares bought and sold. One can trade your way out of trouble with a few well placed buys and sells... even for stocks that crater... as long as the stocks have a hope to come back. smile

» Kirk - Closed at 65¢

In response to message posted by Kirk:

I had to sell 1,000 shares at 64¢... looks like someone at the close got an additional penney for their shares. I wonder how large that order was??

it is just amazing that I bought 5000 shares not long ago for $600 and now I only have to spend 1000 shares to get that $600 back after commissions! I also spent 2,000 shares at 48¢ so I have locked in a good gain even if these remaining shares go to zero. Of course, I'm just making back some lost at higher prices but my newsletter portfolio is now in the black for BOWG.

» Kirk - Up Again

We seemed to take a breather after I took profits at 64¢ and are now back up smile

Funny how that works.

The charts below must have a few people crying... Especially if they were HOLDing TEFQX at the bottom rather than BUYING BOWG! smile

» David_Korn - Nice Move

BOWG is really making some nice moves ever since it busted through its prior near-term highs. Good ole Jessie Livermore would have been buying the stock back then as he (and many traders) like to buy stocks as they "break out" of overhead resistance believing that many people simply sell at new highs to make their money back. Its sort of a contrarian trading philosophy to the "buy low, sell high" theory, although not directly correlative. Whatever the case, the buy interest in BOWG remains strong, and the stock is now trading in the mid-$.70s. Looking for $1 a share anyone?

Slick is smile Hi DK... a new 52 week high (80) and big volume ( 232k ). All in all , a very nice day for BOWG shareholders. I'm not sure who's buying it, but they like it...and want it. Well see about that dollar a share, but one thing is for sure....it's gettting closer,all the time.
