If the directors use the money to pay themselves final salaries, I guess the stockholders will get zero. I made more as an engineer than the CEO here. Many work for free and the technical staff works cheaply also. It has been discussed here and announced in the press so click back and read as it is all public. Looking back on this thread, I don't see any more information than that supplied by the company. It wasn't just silly rumors that drove this stock to where it is today. I would say more likely a bad business plan. New management once they have control, may not be like old management. Delphi is not in much better shape. I was looking into a forum there for another project I am working on with a partner. They have some great tools at Delphi so I can see why people would use Delphi for forums rather than the tools we have here for members. I'd like to have our articles and tools for publishing articles merged with Delphi's discussion and chat functions. I actually think it would be a great combination. Delphi has a few forums that are just as good as ours here, one is for autos and it actually spawns its own sub forums! I wonder if the forums will eventually default to just a few at MSN and Yahoo! where they can afford to keep them around? It really hurts that the recession has really sunk advertising which is what was used to keep some sites like Delphi running. I must admit I try to ignore advertising on the net, but sometimes do click out of curiosity - some of the newer types of net advertizing is eye-catching to say the least! Increasingly though have been ordering stuff from the net rather than deal with traffic and parking. I think that a forum like Delphi or the Suite is a really good idea for bringing like-minded people together and somehow the forum should be able to pay for itself.
