» Slick - Thanks Michael

In response to message posted by Politics_Manager:

...are looking to get the stock back above 3 bucks, which is where the stock initially went public.

A reasonable assumption, Michael...but I'm not sure how many of those original " big wiggs" who bought the stock initially, are still shareholders, or , have they lowered their cost, by buying cheaper shares like many of us have, recently? I certainly can remember commiserating with "Hugs" about lowering my cost to less than 3. HMM...long time ago , it seems. Well, everyone wants a number...of course I have one, but I'm not telling. I will say , if and when I do sell some shares , I'll lay it out publicly, here . Until then...I'll take what the Bradshaws take. Now, where is my shareholders meeting guide. Gawd...if they only would hold it in Seattle. Hell , I'd go up to Vancouver for this one . smile

» Slick - AOL..How many users ?

Here's a thought. I just heard a media analyst on America Tonight say at any given time , AOL has 3.5 million users on line. 3.5 ! More than any two cable networks combined. It certainly speaks volumes about just how much power the PC has on the globe. And , I'll assume , only to get bigger.

Everyone has to aim at AOL. That means MSN...Yahoo and all the other media " big wiggs". Big wiggs with deep pockets ! Now that most of the weak sisters ( in the Internet world ) if not all , have been weeded out, the survivors are coming into their own. The reason I " hang out " in Suite , is quite simply...I like it here . I like the people ; I like the structure; I like the general format. Most of all, I like to click on Kirk's sponsors . smile Would this format work on a grandiose scale , such as AOL's? That , my friends, is the 64 million dollar question.

» Kirk - BOWG Charts

Looks like the market is happy our host for the wildly popular "Coffee With Slick" is feeling better these days. Look at today's move:

<img src=http://cbs.marketwatch.com/charts/int-ad... width=452 height=366>

<img src=http://cbs.marketwatch.com/charts/int-ad... width=452 height=366>

My hope is we had the "typical retrace" that is often 50 to 60% of any big move and is usually seen as a healthy sign for making a larger move in the future.

Concerns would be if we did a double top... but we have to get back to the 52 cent level for that first before we worry. smile

» Kirk - New Stuff and 300 share print

Has anyone noticed the new "Suite Feature" at the Left???

We have also seen another 300 share "purchase" for 23¢. This was what happened before we had our last run on the shares where we got a 5 bagger in short order from under a dime to some here taking profits at 50¢. (I sold some of the shares at 48¢ I bought at 12¢)

300 shares x 23¢ = $69.00

Killer commissions if you do a $15 limit order! Even worse if you are at Schwab and pay $30! Just guessing, but I bet this could be another
"teaser" to scare out a few shares for a buyer...

but I'm just guessing.

I hope some here try the Beta of the Suite University and report their findings here.

» Kirk - Investing 101

I just registered for the class and counted over 60 people registered to take the course! Many are potential partners and insiders, but this is really exciting.

In response to message posted by Kirk:

60 people !...awesome. Lita Epstein is teaching the course and she seems eminently qualified. Free On-line courses now...huh...they( Suite 101) keep pushing the parameters out. Impressive. Some of you know my wife is taking her masters in Education from Phoenix On-line. The cost is 13k.

I have to laugh at the Market Maker trying their damnest to get something moving with his 300 share sell. These guys go beyond the pale, IMO.

In response to message posted by Slick:

Slick... lets say you pay $10 for the "Study Guide" that has the answers to the tests.... I bet most, if they take the time to do the class, will pay the $10...

I've heard that Courses often have many more following along that don't register to make their names public but often take the class...

Get a cut of the books sold for the class plus get $10 for every study guide (or whatever they decide to sell it for...) and split it between the instructor and Suite101... could be some nice revenue with near zero cost to the Suite to add instructors.

Basically, you have a very low cost infrastructure that you can then scale up but the scale up will be low cost since instructors are paid from the earnings rather than a salary.

We might be looking at something called "disruptive technology" here...

If the volume of course takers get large, I might give one on "individual stock selection and value analysis" using my favorite Dreman and Graham texts with my newsletter as an optional course material recommendation. Time will tell. smile
