» davekro - .25 per share

I wonder what caused BOWG to rise past a seeming resistance at .22 ?

Steve, that's funny about you trying to buy BOWG @ .22. I've been trying to sell BOWG @ .22 (E-TRADE). It has traded @ .23, but e-trade can't seem to sell my shares. I finally canceled my order on friday afternoon, and within 20 minutes 100 shares then traded @ .25. I think we are just getting jacked around by market makers. Den

» davekro - All or none

I had a day order to sell 5000 BOWG on Tuesday for .24. It probably did not hit .25 on Thurs but from what I hear above maybe I would not have gotten my order filled on Friday either, even though the last Friday sale showedat .25.
So the question is... with such a low volume stock, shouild I not check the "All or None" Option? What is the scool of thought on weather to use this option or not in practice. (I just always have.

In response to message posted by Dave_San_Jose_CA:

In this case I would. We are talking about $1250 plus trading costs. If they can't come up with that then what are they doing in the market? If one of those market makers wants it and thinks he/she can make a few cents on it they will buy it themselves.

» David_Korn - BOWG BID RAISED

A significant move for BOWG today, although not reflected in the stock price, the bid was raised to .25 and the ask raised to .27.

» Kirk - up 60% today!

Amazing... looks like sellers are out of shares and buyers have some tax refund checks.

Nice to see my last 4 buys now out of the red. smile

Still hardly any volume too... up 60% on ONLY 37,900 shares and most were bought for under 33ยข so you are ONLY talking about $12,500 moving the company up 60%. Just think if someone with some real interest in the company wanted to get 5%?

Then again, with the small volume, the shares could fade quick also... that is why most don't invest in penny stocks... Danger Will Robinson!

Right now, I am enjoying my recent success at the pass line.... but we have a long way to get back to where my options have any value (priced at $1.50!)

» davekro - Gotta laugh

I felt good getting my sell at .25 to take for Friday. The highest of the range it has been in since I bought. THE NEXT DAY it jumps .15 cents! Boy is my intuition a contra indicator or what! ;o)
May we lead an interesting life...

» davekro - Two Questions

First, what in the heck caused BOWG to shoot to .40??

Second, can anyone explain the price and spread action on ths stock in the last few days? I never quite understood the nuts and bolts of the market maker's roll in setting prices etc. This seems to be a good case study to examine this process with, since the volume is so small. It seems literally this move occurred over a hand full of transactions.

Kirk, Rande, others... any takers
