Slick, Where can I get one of these official BOWG garlick pouches? I figure even if it doesn't work, and BOWG goes into the toilet, at least it can go into the pot. Den

I'll be happy to supply them for a mere $9.95 plus S&H and of course they really really work. Email me privately for details. (grin)

» Roger_Babson - Nasty rumors...

Say it ain't so! Are the rumors true that our beloved BOWG may run out of cash by the end of Q2 2001?

What a shame. Does this mean Kirk will have to fid a real job sooner than even I thought, and I won't have a place to gloat when the market and economy turn rotten?

Life just isn't fair. ;-)

Roger. You should learn to read. I would expect better of you... it has been posted here that we have cash to last well into next year or longer and it is posted in our investor notes.

SHAME ON YOU for speading nasty rumors that are easy for you to check before you make them up.

Roger, Roger Roger:

This wasn't public knowledge, but I'm going to share it with everyone. It is an excerp from an email I got from Investor Relations at BOWG:

Hi John,

The current cash position is approximately US$5.8 million . The monthly burn rate is approximately US$200,000.

Now , one can get approximately the same thing from here:

http://www.suite101.com/info.cfm/Investo...

MONEY IN THE BANK
It may seem that in every newsletter I reiterate this fact, and you are right, I do! Primarily because it is important that our investors are aware of this fact. We have an extremely low monthly burn rate (burn rate being the pace at which a Company consumes available capital) and just over 6 million in the bank. Given our current monthly expenditures, Suite will be in operation for several years, without requiring any capital infusions

Roger---you're slipping

» Hugs - Doubles, doubles.. toils and troubles...

Not quite a double on the last batches, but it will be soon enough it seems. Love those rumors on running out of money by the second quarter of '01 though, Roger.

(Hey, face it guys... there's only ever one reason for full blown rumors, whether they're good or bad. Somebody with a lot at stake is trying to move it in they're favor... Now what's that tell you?)

Don't you remember the rumors of a buyout by AOL when it was trading at its peak last spring? Rumors were, it was going a lot higher.

Rumors are now, it's going a lot lower...

Ha, ha, ha.

Do the math, kids.
2 + 2 = 4, every time.

» Hugs - P.S.

A double from here is nuttin' but an indication of shallow thinking and a lack of vision.

Hi Hugs - Welcome back! Been missing your HugsSpecial BOWG commentary. I picked up more BOWG @ 20 cents and here's hoping!

» Hugs - Just haven't felt like saying much, Jen.

When the road is rough and the wind is bitter, you just have to pop the collar up, pull your hat down around your ears and keep on truckin'.

But, for those who were to lazy to look it up or consider it...

What's this? A Stupid buyer?

Well, he certainly must be if they're going to run our of money next quarter. Hmmm... what is that? Purchases of about 85,000 shares @ .20 to .41 within the last 2 months by one insider? Not bad. (A tad more than I added, but, maybe not as much as you'd guess... buying big clunky chunks in the low penny's does help bring averages down in a hurry. See ya in the buck's soon!)
