Isn't one of America's most popular shows "The Simpsons"? I knew people that used to get together to watch that show when it first came out... Not my taste but I can't sit still for a full half hour of Friends either... too silly and too many commercials.

I don't get the connection..but making the transition fron a national radio show, to a national TV show, is an incredibily difficult endeavor. I know that's alot for many of the freaky jealous types, the bitter QQQ over-investors, and the other terminally stricken whining malcontents over at the Brinker thread to comprehend.

Rush tried it with modest, but not long lasting success. Dr. Laura tried it and failed miserably. Let's be grownups and wish him success. Somebody at CNBC believes in him enough to give it a shot.

Yeah, the later time fits a bit better into my schedule...a dreaded obligatory social function...at our place no less. Hey rep, did I mention that my sister who is visiting is also a born-againer? She's even gone on missionary trips abroad. I think just to scam free travel, but then of course I'm a nasty, small-minded, petty SOB. (And, I gotta' be me.) So, I'll probably pop in during the early show and also show up later. CNBC is actually doing a pretty good job of programming. ("Hey, La la...I like Brinker", he said parenthetically.)
