People will have webphones too.

You can't really have all applications run on a webphone otherwise you target for the lowest common denominator and the new applications become useless for most. IF we did not have the present Chat Setup, then we would be back to the mercy of spammers. How soon we forget that major hassle! Instead of filthy language, we get "leaves"... 8)

WebTVs are fine, but if you really want to get with the 2000's, go to an antique shop and get a used P1-60MHz or even a 486 (I have my 486 notebook running now to test some stuff and that works well for getting on the internet) so you can enjoy the work that so many are doing. IF you are an active investor, I think a healthy understanding of the new technology is key.
