Two Questions:1) Are there icons to choose from other than those listed on this site for chat; also, is there a way you could create your own chat icon?
2) When I want to chat, I always go the chat discussion thread and scroll back through the messages until I find a link. Is there a chat link on the page that lists all the discussions, or another short cut? Thanks in advance.,

...Glad to have you join us in chat. To answer your questions...- Kash, who set up our new chat room, reads this thread so I'm sure he will answer your question about having more icons to choosw from, or maybe even creating our own icons.
- There is a chat schedule and a link to the chat room on the Welcome page. Just click on "Welcome" at the top corner of this page. I just put reminders to our scheduled chats on this thread. You can also bookmark the url to the chatroom if you want a shortcut.

Icons:right now, there's only 30ish icons available for chat but we will be putting some more in. also, I am thinking about setting up a mechanism so that the members can upload their own icons.
on a related note:
Chat profiles will also be implemented so that members can save their chat profile permanently.
Explanation on how you end up in specific room when you click on a chat link:
if there are chat sessions scheduled for a specific topic, you will see a link on the topic page under the category "scheduled chats". Now, that link could take you to either one of 4 general chat rooms (A to D) or if that topic has a permanent chat room, you will end up there. However, if you click on a chat link from either "fun stuff page", the main page or the link on the "choose chat icon" page, you will end up in default room which is "suitechat foyer"
BTW, we now have a few chatmasters and monitors. you will distingush them from other chaters by the color of their names "blue".

Someone may type the word "hi"and it prints out as "napht" (or what ever--)
There are certain words, that will get interchanged into other words.
My experience was with the word "hi"
I can not remember, what the word changed into.
It was in the other room nextdoor, A or B or whatever.
There were several people in the room looking for ELVIS.

Sure David.All you have to do is pick a time, make sure we don't have another scheduled for your time, and then announce it here.
IF someone wants to host a regular time and will make a committment to be there, we can add it to the schedule after a few weeks of success.
