Given all the flaws you and I found in the author's article, I wonder why you thought it worth posting it here?

Remember, too, I am anticipating a world (for the next 10 - 20 years or so) in which it will be extremely hard to earn anything like the 8.5% that Tim is predicting.

See what I mean? That 8.5% is the TOTAL return for the WHOLE portfolio! The author really does believe the equity side is going to be higher than 8.5% going forward.
