» Kirk - RE: question

.
In response to question posted by pbradford6:

You can send me an email and I'll give you the link.

But let me make my case to ignore them and force them to post here.

Some people posting there lied about what I had written here. They actually took what I wrote, rewrote it the attacked me for what they rewrote! To this day, they often rewrite or quote me out of context then attack this. I consider this a form of lying.

When I posted a link to my original quote, they complained to Yahoo! and got my account deleted for "spamming." As a result, I have asked Honey to not give links to sites that delete my account for defending my good name.

One or more on that site are very rude to Honey and others where they attack religon and spiritual beliefs out of the blue. When the get mad a me or what I post ehre, they call me a "gay windsurfer" as a "nice personal attack" as if calling someone a homosexual is bad.

Often the insults are much more personal and always meant to hurt. They offend many which is why I encouraged that type of exchange to leave our good site. I'd not encourage giving that sort of nonsense any attention because that is the only reason they do it.

To be honest, I recommend ignoring them and force them to post here where they have to do it honestly.

Thanks for your understanding.

BTW, all of those people have been invited to post in this forum but they make up this or that excuse. We believe it is because they can't post unchallenged lies, are not allowed to make fun of other poster's names to belittle them AND we only allow one account so they can't make up new accounts to "agree with themselves."

Post your questions to them here and they will read them. smile

FWIW, I also asked that this round and round between the handful who have a hobby of debating Brinker occur here rather than in our "Bob Brinker Free Discussion Forum" so we can keep that forum for debating what Brinker says today...

Less Filling!

Tastes Great!

» honeyoneohone - Brinker Fans and Critics

In response to question posted by pbradford6:

BTW: pbradford6,

Kirk is absolutely correct in his analysis of this other site.

For an example, you can see a little taste of these personal attacks/lies at the Brinker Discussion Thread just recently. "Iamacamera" and "allancoleman," with zero provocation from me, both told bald-faced lies about me.

This is the kind of thing that some devoted Brinker-fans like to do--and MUCH worse.

Kirk does not like this kind of stuff on his site (I don't like it either), and wants people to stick to the topic.

However, there are a few brinker-fans and critics that just like to mix it up, and they try to ignore the one or two truly vicious who try to discredit Kirk, me and others.

These "fans and critics" include Dija, Math, Walkerman, Will and several others. They have congregated at the site that you are asking about. If you want the link, you can email Kirk or me.

Actually, two on your list have said rude and/or untrue things about me despite my correcting them. One continues to call others insulting names and has rejected offers to make peace. I think these two just like to attack Brinker's critics using dirty tricks, personal attacks and lies so they stay where they can get away with it. Oh... one did have his account deleted for numerous personal attacks even on that site that allows most every slander imaginable so I take that back.

I still recommend ignoring them and letting them come here and behave like gentlemen if they want to mix it up honestly. We have a working search engine that makes it easier to prove if they lie or make stuff up.

Okay. I don't think it's quite fair to carry this any further, do you? People will do what they want to do and go where they want to go, and all you are doing is piqueing their curiosity.

You've known me long enough to know that I believe in fair play. That is part of why I have contempt for the way the Brinker boards were operated before they were finally shut down.

That subject might be an interesting topic to delve into--I think it shows how trustworthy Brinker's recommendations really are--or are not, as the case may be.

» mrs1123 - Thank goodness we had an up day.

If we had one or two more down days in the market I might have panicked out of it. What helped me hold on was the last of the earnings that I was hoping would give a pop to the market.

I respect your concerns and do like the decorum and respect that occurs on this site. But with that said, I'd like to see them return and start posting here again. Hey, if you guys are reading this, consider coming back. You'd be welcome.

Hi Mrs1123,

I don't usually spend much time quoting Bob Brinker, but I think he is absolutely correct when he tells us not to sell in a panic or into weakness.

And he is also correct when he says that if the amount of money you have in the market makes you lose sleep at night, you should probably re-evaluate your asset allocations.

That said, I am also thinking of cutting back on my equity allocation. But I hate to do it while Brinker's so bullish. smile smile smile
