Sent to the help people today. I'll post their reply if I get one. I heard from a friend with a fast desktop PC that his system was also slow.

Help

My system is now running VERY slow downloading the shuttle launch.

I have no idea if it is even downloading properly since there is no status message or even an icon anywhere.

I have a Dell Inspiron laptop with a 1920x1200 monitor so it should look great when it arrives...
but my processor is a Pentium M 1.5 Ghz so is that my problem?

I can't see any signs that it is downloading on Task Manager nor do I have any icons anywhere saying it is downloading or what is its progress.

What can I do?

BTW, I can offer a discussion forum on Suite101 for people to discuss their problems and solutions.
I posted a copy this note to my "Mark Cuban" forum to see if anyone has had similar problems.

I'd not recommend downloading the application untile we report it is working. My system is way too slow now and I have no idea if it is even downloading the 1.3G movie. My plan is to "restore" my PC to 8/3/05 configuration if I don't get this resolved in 24 hours.
