In response to Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Lest we forget posted by permabear:

Right, Gold has not corrected as much as the EURO showing that it is no longer just negatively correlated with the dolar. Gold is just starting to enter the second phase which will eventually develop into a bloomin gold bubble.

» BoltonCT - Gold Bubble

But the last gold bubble took about 10 years to develop so don't hold your breath. However with the wind to your back you may profitably buy at the the channel lows but sell (not short) at the channel tops.

Kirk you're right about the Fixed Income advice. I received the following recently:

Brinker Advisory Services Inc. Announces the Inaugural Issue of the Brinker Fixed Income Advi$or Investment Newsletter

His new letter subscription is $99 per year.

If there is interest I will post the entire announcement.

appreciate the link capt. even though it was a backdoor reference . i ordered a freebie issue . hope the wife doesn't also take a liking to this brinker publication too . smile .

and i agree with your reference as to why anyone would pay for conservative investment ideas . bob's latest fixed income investment tips have been CDs . and it's really not difficult to find CDs on the net . oh well , as you said Beanie Babies were popular too .

Where was Brinker today...Kudlow is a moron...a perma bull...did Kudlow tell us the market was going to 12K...thats what Kudlow told us a month ago!!!
Kudlow, I hear, is a former cocaine addict. I think that explains a lot of his thinking.

In response to Market posted by JackSwanson:

Agree on Kudlow. I was disapponted not to hear what Brinker had to say about current meltdown. Whether it was buying opportunity or he is turning cautious. Kudlow is a supply side true believer. Tax cuts are the solution to all problems. As long as supply siders are in power, the world is good. Budget deficits don't count for anything. Trade deficits are just the markets doing their magic. Kudlow is going to eat crow big-time, because budget and trade deficits do matter. It's only a matter of time before consequences hit.

Since Bob took the weekend off following the market decline does that mean he was busy cranking the numbers on his indicators? Should we expect a sell signal soon?
