» hotmailgayle - Stop the War!

Thanks, Glen, for your article. I'm from Colorado Springs, one of Georgie's favorite places to play war. I belong to the anti-war movement here (such as it is), which I optimistically hope will grow stronger here.

I would like to find out what humanitarian organizations exist in Iraq and elsewhere to help bring humanitarian aide to the Iraqi survivors. Can anyone out there help with this, or know where to look?

I am especially disgusted today by the media play over the newly captured POWs, and read over and over Geneva convention violations and how they were tortured and beaten with graphic detail. How insensitive to the families with military in Iraq to hear.

Thanks for your comment. Indeed it is jsut to convenient for the Bush-outlaws to call for the Geneva convention when something may not be going their way. Now international law is needed? They sure were not looking for it when they drew up their invasion plans.

One of the links onmy welcome page leads to the prime source on internatinal relief, it is the UN's "Reliefweb" and you can not only find most all agencies involved in humanitarian relief but also reporting on the events that is not filtered and censored by the US-Government and their embedded so-called journalists.
The site is at:

www.reliefweb.int

Peace and best wishes, Glenn
