» courage - great article

I want to thank you for writing this article. It really touched my heart. When I was four months old, my father shook me violently. I almost didn't make it. I'm blind now as a result of the shaking. I also have to use a wheelchaitr, because I can't walk. I feel that the public should be made aware of the damage that shaking a baby can do. Thanks again for writing this article.

» CTEIJAH2 - wonderful article

I think your article was a very good wake up call for someone in my life. I have been telling my fiance not to play so rough with our 1yr old daughter. He bounces her on his knee and I have asked him not to do that because it is not good to shake her like that. I don't think he understands the seriousness of this. People also need to know that babies can get injured even when they are being shaken out of fun not just anger. This is the most dangerous because the thought is that they are just playing how could the baby get hurt.
