Surprise, Jeri! I think you are doing a great job hosting the Infants area here on Suite101.com. I especially like your article on baby wearing. Happiness to you and your growing family!

» gem57 - What a wonderful topic you have in here!

Dear Jeri,

Your kids are very lucky - they not only have a loving and caring mother, they also have a talented and sharing mother!

I am a mother, too, and a nurse and the most loved of all God's creatures in my hospital work before were babies or infants! They are such a beauty and I consider myself lucky and blessed to have had close contacts with them before, aside from my own two boys of course.

Now that I've discovered your site, you'll see more of me here. I might be able to share some insights on the subject and some experiences I have with saving babies' lives during the seven-month occupation of Kuwait by Iraq in 1990-1991.

How would you like that, huh!

Regards,

Freda (aka gem57)
