Hi Laurie!
This article is superb! Your clever writing skills have enabled me to get into the "eastern" mindset. What a delightful vision of parenting and life with baby! I intend on doing this with the next one! Thanks to YOU!

» trickletreater - Diaperless vs. the cloth and disposable diaper options!

Superb article, Laurie! How fortunate for you to have learned this method first hand from a culture that uses it with much generational support! I discovered this method when my ds was 4 months old! I am happy to say that he is a graduate of this method at 10 months and will be embarking toddlerhood soon without having to "look forward" to conventional toilet training! Thanks for getting the "word out" about this fantastic option for addressing our babies' elimination needs. It isn't just the options of cloth vs. disposable anymore! There's this option of going "diaperless!"

Warm regards,

Lois

Hi Laurie,

Great article and i am interested in reading more abt it. I am from india and thats the way we do it there. After coming to US we forget abt these methods and follow whats done here. my mom told me how to potty train and she showed me few positions how to hold the baby and it is helpful. my friends here think i am too backward, may be i should send them ur link.
