I like the way that you convey that Industrial music was born from emotion and not with the intent to create a new genre of music. However, I'm not so sure that the emotion in question was hatred so much as a negative outlook in general; including feelings of pessimism, alienation, cynicism and disillusionment. I'm not saying that hatred wasn't involved in the mix, because it certainly was, but I don't think it was the chief motivating factor. Negativity... Yes.
