I live outside Portland in the suburb of Beaverton. Really enjoyed your portrait of the city. I really is quite an interesting and beautiful place to live. It has its blights in places as do all cities, but it certainly has its "head on straight" with lots of green areas and thoughtful city planning.

I like what you are doing with this topic. I am a visual artist only with photography but took many art history courses in college and have visited many galleries both in the USA and Europe.

Though my main interest in writing, I enjoy your word pictures and explication of the visual arts as also "illuminating."

BTW, Oregon is my second topic here at the Suite though I have only started writing on that subject.
