» Georgene A. Bramlage - Thank you!

Thank you for such a neat and tempting article smile

My husband and I visited the book of Kells last summer and were very impressed by the numbers of people standing in line to purchase tickets for viewing the manuscipt and with the almost humble circumstances of its display within the confines of a very small bookstore.

I spent much time viewing the manuscript - would have like to have spent more, but D.H. is not as methodic a museum goer as I so went out to wait for me so we could tour the library together. I felt it necessary to keep up and the day on track smile

The crowded bookstore made me clausterphobic - I didn't buy anything.

Thanks for your message! I could definitely have stayed longer also. I really didn't want to leave Ireland at all. Ah well, back to reality. . .

» Georgene A. Bramlage - Do Not Want to Leave!

In response to message posted by suzannemhill:

Agreed about not wanting to leave...the country has so much to offer other than gardens smile

I would like to go back and have more time to investigate preChristian and early Christian history there. And there are always more gardens to explore.

» jerrib - What an experience!

This must have been a joyous occasion, Suzanne, and you really did make it interesting. Life is wonderful when we get to taste the icing on the cake, isn't it?

How's school going?

Yes, I love to travel - sounds like you do too - and wish I could do more.
About school, I'm almost done the degree I'm currently working on. This last class is kicking my butt. Finding time for everything is a real challenge.

How's everything for you?
