Welcome to Suite101.com, Jeff. We're always looking for new editors.

I'm a teen (don't look at my topic name) that lives in New Jersey, so obviously I've lost quite a bit of interest in hockey since they got killed in the first round...by the Senators!!!

(hey...at least I still have the Yanks to root for...)

Anyway, I'm picking one of the teams from the west to win; they've got more talent, especially offensively. While Buffalo may have the best goaltender in Hasek, the rest are pretty hot too (for example, take out Osgood's poor first few performances and he's been spectacular).

So...the pick...is...Dallas, even though some of their stars are injured.

It's a shaky pick, because as the playoffs have shown so far, anything can happen.

So who do you think will win? Based on your first article, I guess you think the Capitals will win.

Hopefully the Alvs will be able to get past Dallas, I think Buffalo will be tough on Toronto, it should be a close series, with Buffalos fate depending on how hot hasek is. Hopefully the Flyers will be able to advance further next year.
Glad to see Detriot could not buy the cup this year, with all their last minute spending and trades.
