Hi,we have a very healthy bird of paradise plant by our front door. The problem is that it is getting too big. How do I reduce its diameter?
Also, is it right to deadhead the plant? If so, do I cut the stem or the leaf and the flower stem?

Hello,I have 2 BOP in a large plastic pot inside my home. It gets indirect light from Oct. to May indoors and I put it outside in shade/sun from May to Sept. for the past 4 years that I had them. I am not very faithful with fertilizing and I am afraid of overwatering. They have NOT flowered the entire time I had them. How do we properly take care of them to make them flower? Please help....should it be in direct sunlight? It seems last summer when we had it in direct sunlight, some leaves would get burnt looking edges. Thank you!

HEy i wanted to know something...... my plant is inside for this summer.. and its at a window where thers another window by it.. its growing pretty good and i have a grow light at the other side of the room.. is that enough to get it to flower or grow big enough to flower in a couple years?-- posted by WoBlewObLe
