to read your column, Peggy. You have shared some great ideas. Knew some of them, but not all.

Thanks Jerri! It is fun finding all of the things that exist 'out there' and sharing them with my readers.

Yes, it feels good to help others, plus I just like to learn stuff. I'm the queen of trivia. So it is great to be able to use all of this stuff I learn by writing an article that can help others. A win-win situation.

» Mugwump53 - Thinking Outside the Box

I guess this would be a good example of thinking outside the box, seeing new and original uses for things different from what they were designed or advertised for doing. Thanks for some really great and unique ideas.

» Mugwump53 - Timing is everything!

In response to message posted by Mugwump53:

The morning after I read this article, my wife was wondering aloud how she could keep some flowers she received looking good longer. I quickly and quietly rushed back to this article, and informed her about the white vinegar as though I knew all along. (I did eventually tell her about your article, which she promprly read.)

Thanks again for this great information.

John, I'm sorry you couldn't continue to take credit for the knowledge but I am glad you shared my article with your wife. It is amazing what you can do with vinegar isn't it?
