What great ideas, Peggy. My granddaughters always make their own wrapping paper and cards, etc, and yes, their "Nana" really appreciates and loves it! The egg carton idea is really cute. I'm sending it off to my daughter. I think the girls will enjoy doing that. Anything that makes them sit still for a while, is worth a try! Hehe.

and I love your bright graphics in tune with the season. I always go and buy wrap on sale after Christmas but I think next year I just may be more creative, especially for birthdays when I have more time.

I like the handprints idea. My grandkids did handprints and my daughter made coasters from them one year - they are my pride and joy.
