Henry,
So much of what we find disgusting is really in our heads. Raisins in oatmeal are perfectly normal, unless someone tells you they are bugs. Cold cooked spaghetti is just blah unless someone tells you it is worms. Our imagineation takes over and makes it hard to eat even common foods.
