» JudyH - white sauce

The only Mexican sauces I am familiar with are cheese-based sauces which contain white Mexican cheese(s).
Here are a couple:

I was wondering if anyone has sent you a recipe for the white sauce. My daughter and I have wondered about this recipe for years. We think maybe it has a mix of mayonaise and sour cream. I would appreciate it, if you get the recipe to share it. Thank you.

Did you ever get the real, honest to goodness recipe for the white sauce? I've tried all sorts of concoctions, all arriving at nil and some so unpalatable even the dogs choked. I love the sauce; in fact, have threatened to simply drink it at times and I know the restaurants make it individually because the consistency or the fire will differ from day to day.

Any suggestion you have will be appreciated. Thanks

I know how to make it, and it doesn't contain all of these ingredients. I'm not sure who came up with this recipe but it's incorrect. The restaurant employees try to keep it a big secret, but I found out. It took a while, though...
