» Emma_buster - spoilt horses

This subject is of much interest to me. i am lucky enough to own a beautiful 16.2 hannovarian X tb mare, she has perfect stable manners and can really jump. One problem....she has been spoilt rotten. When i eventually get on her (which is a task in itself) she bucks, broncs, rears, runs into things, gallops off, throws herself to the floor and really does try her best not to work. If however she wants to work she can be the most well schooled horse i have ever ridden. it just depends wether she wants to on that particular day.

anyway, back to the point. i have had her vetted, her back checked twice, feed supplements, a healer and communicator to her, numerous lessons etc. nothing works.

i have traced her history and all in all she is a spoilt brat and paddies when doesn't get her own way. anyone who wants to spoil a horse should come and visit mine first! she is a nightmare!

anyone with any ideas on what to do with her? she has already been rebroken twice so that is not an option
