In response to message posted by DonnaJP:Technically yes, but the breeds commonly referred to as warmbloods are crosses of Throughbred and draft breeds. They are bred specifically for performance in the jumping, dressage, 4 in-hand driving and eventing competitions. Thus the confusion between the terms warmblood and sport horse.
