» Car - Jackie Chan

Yeah! You know. I've had the darnest time finding an official website for Jackie Chan. Would you happen to know where? I did find one for Jet Li and it's outstanding. Drunken Master II is definitely a classic and I hope we see a review of it in the future.

BTW, I also starting writing a bit about different Martial Arts stars over on Themestream.

» JonathanLB - Hey

Thanks for visiting the site, first of all!

In terms of Jackie Chan's official site, if you scroll down to the bottom of the 5 featured links you will see a link saying "If you like these links, there are more links available." If you click on that you will see 10 other links, and one of them is the Jackie Chan official website.

Drunken Master II is excellent, I will review that one in due time, I love that movie. I think it is one of the all-time best Hong Kong action movies around, but I want to save the review a *little* bit longer, otherwise the best movie review is already out! Just kidding, hehe.

I had a chance to see Romeo Must Die again on Spectra Vision while I was in Hawaii, that was my third viewing. I really liked the movie, I know that some big Jet Li fans were disappointed by it, but I thought it was excellent. The action is not as good as Black Mask, and not even close to Fist of Legend, but the movie is still really good! The plot works well, some of the action is still awesome, and...oh yeah I better save all this for the review, huh?

I was thinking of putting the full review up when the movie hits DVD and video, I'd like to review something else for this week, but I'll just have to see.

One of my good friends, Dwight (I call him FoxDVD), is a huge fan of Hong Kong action, he has seen way more movies than I have. Anyway, when we started talking about our favorites, we also noticed that it is nearly impossible to find good reviews of most of these movies on the Internet. I am sure there are great reviews in Asian languages, but I've not been able to find very many in English. Most of them are vague, inaccurate at times, and usually less than 100 words. I provided a lot of plot details in my last review, which is good and bad I suppose, but I like to write a clear review that details the movie's storyline.

Have a great day!

» Car - Jackie Chan's Official Site...

I've tried going to that site for a LONG time and keep getting redirected to some Star-something-or-another site that's all in Chinese. I search those pages and find info about other Chinese stars but not really just Jackie.

BTW, I have a list of movies I need to be watching. One of them that came highly recommended to me but I haven't seen yet is the "Bride with White Hair"... I think that's the correct title. It's so hard to figure it out when the titles keep changing translations and they have like 4-5 Chinese ones to begin with.
